pain is feedback

healing is recognizing that our bodies are always giving us feedback about our needs.

it seems simple, because it is.

what do we do when we feel hungry? we eat. what about when we’re tired? we sleep. when we’re thirsty? we drink. and so on…

we have created connections about what our body needs (most often as the base level) - we have lived experience and know Innately what our needs are. in those situations, we don’t call our practitioners, coaches, parents and ask what we’re supposed to do…

but what about when we’re in pain? what about when we feel disconnected, anxious, off-purpose, frustrated?

for some reason, we panic and immediately look outwards. we order more “supplements”, schedule with all 17 of our allopathic practitioners, and look every-which-way but within.

so what are we to do when something arises and we’re unsure of our needs?

first and foremost, acknowledge that none of it is random, wrong, or a mistake! our bodies are wise beyond anything we think we know…so trust it’s responding perfectly in the moment, even if it’s uncomfortable or less than ideal. this DOESN’T mean do absolutely nothing. support yourself as you Innately feel called to.

when we bring awareness, grace, and compassion for our bodies, we begin to soften into what is and free up space in our ability to connect more deeply with ourselves.

that’s ~ root cause ~ healing 🤍
