actual change

“it’s easier to take a pill than to make an actual change”

it’s true. it’s easier to bandaid, numb, and distract than it is to sit and actively participate in the discomfort or pain of your situation.

it’s easier to rely upon the “external” stuff than to excavate and chip away at the patterns that are occupying your attention and system.

reliance is the key word here. there’s nothing wrong with receiving support ~ we all need others and community to help shine a light on the stuff we can’t see

healing and cultivating our well-being and vitality requires us to take full responsibility for ourselves and how we continue to to interact with our experience ~ there are no shortcuts, only right actions.

an invitation ~ check in with the following:

~ where and how do I outsource my healing // who or what am I relying on to be “well”?
~ where do I feel a readiness to initiate change in myself and my environment?
~ where do I feel I need to support in making the shifts?
